Is a polmeranian a good dog to get around kids?
I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. I want to get another dog. We have a black lab already, but I want a little dog. I think that they are so cute but not sure how they are around kids. Please help
yes!! I had a toy pom for 8 years and I have a 3 and 5 year old. My dog was 3 years old when I got it also. The problem I had was when the kids were ready for bed the dog would get them all excieted and jumping around and when the dog was ready for bed the kids would do the same with the dog. SImba had SO much energy! He was just like a little puppy. Some ppl say not to get one because the older ones tend to be cranky but thats how all older dogs are sometimes. If you get a puppy you can train it.
