Help w/ falling wallpaper border?
My husband and I picked out the cutest jungle wallpaper border for our nursery. Problem is...our walls have semi-gloss paint and we didn't know the border would peel off. We put it up last night and it's fallen down today. The company that makes this pattern has gone out of business and we've already driven more than an hour to pick up the last three rolls we could find. We can't find it online and it's the only one we like...what can we do? We don't have enough to redo it and like I said, we can't find more. Can I use glue on the backside or what? Thanks!
just buy some vinyl over vinyl wallpaper border paste and what I would do is to get a really long surface such as your kitchen counter and unroll as much of the border with the back side up as you can.......then just get a paint brush and dip in the adhesive and then apply liberally to the back of the border and book your ends...........
that glue works great and just be sure you coat the ends really well so it will not eventually curl..................
