How do I go about making my own headboard?
I'm sure it'd be cheaper to make our own cool headboard then to go out and buy a bed. Our bed is currently just in that metal frame thing (Although I'd love to get a sleigh bed some day!)
Our walls are about this color, maybe a little lighter/more pale:

And we are getting this bedding set:

So I'd like to sort of coordinate. Also, we currently have white furniture in our bedroom, but we are seriously contemplating sanding them down and staining them with a cherry finish.
Any suggestions?
With some wood and some paint I think.
