Who can give me an idea for a Dr Seuss assembly for preschoolers?
I teach Pk2 and I have been asked to have my class present at our next assembly on the 2nd of March for his birthday. We will be making Cat in the Hat hats and I would like for them to sing a song about the book or something. Could anyone help me please?
Nice idea for an assembly, but since Dr. Seuss books cannot be improved upon, I suggest that rather than singing a song about the book, someone should just read one of the books. This person should have a good reading voice--expressive and loud enough--and a genuine appreciation for the Seuss genius.
My slightly older children absolutely love to hear me read Green Eggs and Ham backwards. Something to pull out in a few years, I guess.
